Westringia Zena

This hardy shrub grows to a mature height of 50–70 cm and spreads up to 1 metre, forming a neat, rounded shape with minimal pruning required to maintain its form.
Trimming: Trimming encourages dense growth, especially in hedges or formal plantings.
Fertilising: Apply a slow-release, low-phosphorus fertiliser in spring to support healthy foliage and flowers. Westringia naturally thrives in low-nutrient soils, so minimal fertilising is sufficient.
Watering: Drought-tolerant once established but benefits from occasional deep watering during prolonged dry spells. Ensure the soil is well-draining to avoid waterlogging.
Pest Control: Rarely affected by pests, but inspect occasionally for aphids or scale. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
Disease Management: Highly resistant to disease. Avoid waterlogged conditions to prevent root rot and ensure good air circulation.
